Notification Public Holidays in Punjab on 9th & 10 Moharram 2024 The government of Punjab has announced a public holiday on the occasion of Muharram 2024 i.e. Ashura Day, which also issued a formal notification according to which there will be holidays on 16th and 17th July 2024 in Punjab.

No.SOW-I(S&GAD)1-3/2008(P-IV): In pursuance of Cabinet Division’s circular No.10-1/2024-Min-II dated 09.07.2024 and in continuation of this office notification of even no. dated 26.12.2023 News of listing public and optional holidays for the year 2024, it is notified for general information that 16th & 17th July, 2024 (Tuesday and Wednesday) shall be observed as public holidays in the Province of Punjab on the occasion of Ashura (09th & 10th Moharram, 1446 AH).
Note: The above notification may be published in all major English and Urdu dailies and also be given wide publicity through electronic media.
